| Following the EN50289-1-6: 2002 measurement, the Surtec's
transfer impedance test environment offers a survey and report system for your fully shielded solution.
The required value listed in the TIA/EIA-568-B.2 and
IEC 60603-7-5 standards
The shield transfer impedance of ScTP connecting hardware,
measured in accordance with clause K.8 shall not exceed the
values determined using the formula.
All Types : ZTconn = 40¡Ô f from 1MHz to 4 MHz
ZTconn = 20 f from 4MHz to 100 MHz
Where¡G ZTconn is the transfer impedance of the connecting
hardware shield in m£[ f is the frequency in MHz.
The transfer impedance is the intrinsic electromagnetic shielding
property of cables connectors. It's a fundamental value of a
shield's performance. Our test implements develop to give
high-precision measurement on a standard frequency range, from 1MHz to 100MHz.
