Surtec was founded in 1983 by current President – Mr. Michael Chen. Starting with telephone products and with more than 23-year experiences in mold injection, Surtec has designed a comprehensive range of products for voice industry. In year 1998, SURTEC has entered the business of structured cabling and developed its first own Cat.5e solution approved by UL. After years of development, SURTEC has now become one of the best structured cabling OEM/ODM manufacturers in Asia with its Cat.6 and Cat.6A solution, which can support Network application up to 10Gbps transmission.
Surtec is located in Keelung, Taiwan with one facility around 17,000 square meters. As a pure OEM/ODM manufacturer, Surtec has 15 electrical engineers and 15 mechanical engineers to design and develop the products with Auto-CAD, Pro-Engineer, Solidworks and ANSOFT Circuit Analysis/EM simulation softwares. Based on its high quality manpower and professional experiences in research and development, Surtec has the confidence and ability to design and manufacture various telecommunication products for different customers.
In addition, Surtec has ISO-9000 / TL 9000 and ISO 14000 certifications, which proves its profession in manufacturing and quality control. Surtec has designed and produced more than 3,500 precision molds and over 3,000 products. During the process, Surtec has accumulated a lot of experiences in design and manufacturing that customers can benefit from.
