Clocked Out, Fun Mode On!
No matter how busy work gets, it’s always nice to slow down once in a while, step away from the office, and enjoy a change of scenery with our colleagues. This year, our employee trip took us to central Taiwan for a fun-filled getaway featuring great food, beautiful nature, and plenty of outdoor activities.
Our journey began at Gushen Mushroom Restaurant, a Michelin Bib Gourmand–recommended restaurant known for its delicious mushroom-based dishes. Over a lively meal shared around the table, we kicked off the trip with plenty of good food and good conversation. We then headed to Luzhigu Ecological Scenic Area, where we stepped into the mountains, got closer to nature, and enjoyed a relaxing escape surrounded by beautiful scenery and local wildlife.
The fun continued at Sun Moon
Lake, where a variety of activities kept everyone moving. We cycled along the lakeside, enjoying the scenery while getting some exercise, and took a boat ride to experience the beauty of the lake from a different
perspective. For those up for a little
adventure, the sunrise SUP experience was a memorable highlight, starting the day on the water as the morning light spread across the lake.
More than simply visiting new places, the trip gave everyone a chance to step away from the usual work routine and spend quality time together. We chatted, shared meals, exercised, took on new challenges, and—most importantly—laughed together. These shared moments brought our team even closer and created plenty of memories to take back to the office.
While enjoying the outdoors, we also kept sustainability in mind throughout the journey. Activities such as cycling allowed us to explore the surroundings in a more low-carbon way, while spending time in the mountains and by the lake reminded us of the importance of appreciating and protecting the natural environment we share.
A great trip is about more than the places we visit—it’s about the people we share the journey with and the memories we create together.
